Structural Innovation

Structure, insulation and resilience in one integrated system.

SCIP stands for Structural Concrete Insulated Panel. A rigid insulating core is held between welded steel meshes connected by diagonal truss wires. After the panels are erected, reinforced and integrated with the foundation, roof and openings, structural concrete or mortar is applied to both sides. The completed assembly acts as an insulated reinforced-concrete system.

Building Science

A monolithic concrete building system
with insulation at its core.

SCIP brings structure, continuous insulation and design flexibility into one integrated panel system.

What is SCIP?

SCIP stands for Structural Concrete Insulated Panel. A typical system includes a rigid expanded-polystyrene insulating core, welded galvanized steel mesh on both faces and diagonal truss wires connecting the meshes through the core.

The lightweight panels are erected and connected on site. Additional reinforcement is installed where required around panel joints, corners, openings, roof interfaces and foundations. Approved shotcrete concrete or mortar is then applied to both faces. After curing, the wall becomes an insulated reinforced-concrete monolithic assembly.

SCIP is not the same as SIP

SCIP

Steel mesh + insulating foam core + structural concrete/mortar skins forming a reinforced cementitious assembly.

SIP

Foam insulation bonded between board skins like OSB. A different structural system with wood detailing.

The EllaBrava Story

EllaBrava was born on Florida Gulf Coast from a personal and professional question: if we know where we live, why would we design a home as though the climate were an afterthought?

Founder Fabiana Williams had already spent years helping homeowners transform spaces and move complex projects forward. She understood that the most meaningful decisions often happen before construction begins — when vision, structure, budget and responsibility are aligned. EllaBrava expands that experience into custom homes created from the ground up.

The name represents courage with intention. Not risk for the sake of being different, but the confidence to ask better questions, explore stronger systems and lead every project with purpose.
