SCIP stands for Structural Concrete Insulated Panel. A rigid insulating core is held between welded steel meshes connected by diagonal truss wires.
After the panels are erected, reinforced and integrated with the foundation, roof and openings, structural concrete or mortar is applied to both sides. The completed assembly acts as an insulated reinforced-concrete system.
